AUDITION REQUIREMENTS
In order to be considered for in-person auditions, performers will need to complete the Google form prior to receiving the link for sign ups. If invited to sign up for a time slot, they will receive an email with the link. From there, they may sign up for the date and time that works best for their schedule.

Please prepare one of the three audition packages for the 2025 Hackmatack Playhouse Season. Packages should not exceed 4 minutes total in length.
Musicals Only - Big Fish, Guys and Dolls, Once
Two Contrasting 16-32 bar cuts in the style of the show or season. If auditioning for Once, please include playing your instrument in your submission.
Play Only - Barefoot in the Park
One Monologue of your choosing in the style of the show under 2 minutes.
Musicals and Play - Full Season
One 16-32 musical cut in the style of the shows or season and one monologue of your choosing in the style of the show under 2 minutes.
If unable to attend in-person callbacks, please also submit a dance reel if auditioning for musicals.

Please list titles of all selections in the description of your unlisted video.
If using a share file site, please make sure that all materials are set to “Anyone with the link can View”. Due to the volume of submissions we will be unable to reach out to anyone for passwords or access.

CHARACTER ROLES & GENERAL FAQS

All Hackmatack Playhouse roles are paid.
Limited housing is available for out-of-state actors.
This season, all audition spaces are for adult actors (18+), we are not accepting any auditions from youth performers.
While the exact rehearsal schedule will be unique to each production, Actors should expect to rehearse 5-6 days a week during the rehearsal period. Monday-Friday rehearsals could occur during the afternoon/evening. Saturday & Sunday could occur during the day and evening.
Rehearsals and performances are located in non-air conditioned facilities on a working farm with live animals.
